THE MAN BEHIND THE COLOUR

An artist’s eye.
A lasting presence.

Painter, sculptor and teacher, Wahib Bteddini made the world around him the subject of a lifelong artistic practice.

He studied painting and mural art at the Surikov Institute in Moscow and taught at the Lebanese University’s Institute of Fine Arts. His work embraces the familiar and the imagined, from village gatherings to figures shaped by pure colour.
